Let’s recap, part one!

Hey Party People!

I couldn’t let July end without poppingin at least once. I should have written sooner; meant to, ran topics through my head but I couldn’t do it without a little separation from the suck-ass month aka June! I know I say that all the time, but this month sank to a whole new low! Let’s recap, shall we?

* I had my romantic dreams dashed (read: I was dumped!)

* My mother-in-law passed away.

* My now ex-husband, Endicott, got the news of his mother’s death on the same days as the news of our divorce — the latter from this blog. (Isn’t that awful? I felt soooooooo bad for him.)

* At the service for Endicott’s mother, most of the people in the chapel had no idea we were separated, even fewer knew about the divorce. I didn’t know this until one of his relatives thanked me for having them there, offered their condolences. I was caught off guard for a second, and yelped, “Oh!” After that, I slipped back into that wife/buffer role I knew so well. Even with everything that happened between us, all I wanted to do was protect him. So I did.

* My arthritis and depression came back with a vengence. It’s kinda bad timing as I lost my health insurance when the divorce was finalized.

That was all in one week! Yep, that sucked!…That was probably why I spent most of that week crying. Between my psychiatrist and my best bud, Jean Luc, talking me down, I was okay.

I’ve got more to share, but it’ll have to wait ’til tomorrow ‘cuz my muscles and joints are bugging me!
